Samuel Mayerfield, M.D.

Neuroradiologist

 

Dr. Samuel Mayerfield is a board-certified radiologist with added qualifications in neuroradiology and interventional radiology.

After completing his undergraduate studies at New York University in New York City, Dr. Mayerfield earned his M.D. degree in Paris, France at Universite de Paris, Faculte de Medecine, Paris VI (Pierre et Marie Curie) in 1979.  

Following his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, Dr. Mayerfield completed his residency in radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital .  He also completed a year of emergency medicine at the Columbia University program at Overlook Hospital in New Jersey (1979-1983). 

Dr. Mayerfield continued his training with a fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. He was the assistant professor of neuroradiology there.
